From a “Message to Warriors” by Nana Baruti
As an Afrikan nationalist fighting to maintain my and my people’s lives and sanity in this anti-Afrikan reality, I affirm the following:
1. I will not be contradictory. What I think will be exactly what I say and what I say will be exactly what I do. I will uncompromisingly be who I think and say I am.
2. I will love and build with Afrikan persons of good will and character.
3. I will distinguish my wants from my needs and never emphasize the material above the mental and spiritual.
4. I will learn and teach our children ourstory. I will help them see and understand their power and their personal responsibility to use it in the best interests of Afrikan people. I will rear them to be Afrikan nationalists.
5. I will strive to be independent in every possible way and help my fellow warriors to be likewise.
6. I will respect my body and treat it like the temple it is. I will endeavor to elevate my martial skills to their highest potential and always be on guard for myself, my family, community and nation.
7. I will honor our warrior Ancestors only, using them at their finest as a model of the perfection to which I aspire.
8. I will never use derogatory, demeaning language against my Brothers and Sisters. I will always show them the utmost respect. I will speak to them in the race-nation spirit of family, knowing that we are one and that to curse them is to curse myself.
9. I will never confuse friend with enemy and will, without qualification, treat each accordingly.
10. I will live to remove enemies from my people’s minds and spaces. I will work to secure all that is ours.
11. I will always remember to never forgive or forget what has been done to Afrikan people and do all I know and am able to do to stop this mentacidal, genocidal process now and never let it happen again.
12. I will do all in my power to liberate, empower and make Afrikan people sovereign.

I think this could be made better if it required a date by which he will do these things.
-
A date inserted would definitely stir a true and deep motivation!

Indeed, that prevents it from being open-ended, which lends itself to hypocrisy whereby the person just likes to be seen (on white social media) as being about something where the very fact of being on that medium speaks volumes.

I’m not a fan of FB, especially after someone was able to track my physical location when I was out of town 4 years ago. I would imagine he sees it from an economic stand point because there are millions of Africans worldwide to market his products to on FB and related platforms. We can capture that market and I’ll send you a proposal shortly.
