I’m wondering how a whole Uganda would be unable to pay back 207$million even in 2months when they service principal payment for domestic debt to the tune of over 800$million annually. I suspect this is a reaction to a probable approach to Nigeria, which is Uganda’s 3rd largest bilateral creditor after china and kuwait to maybe give them more time so they can deal with china first. They mistakenly thought Nigeria is their “brother”-
That is 3rd largest “non-paris club” bilateral creditor
