Wise words from Nana Ptahhotep. As soon as you tell people about your success, people immediately want to pull you down. It seems that the “pull down” mentality is human nature.
My dad said successful people were called Bayifoɔ or a witch when he was growing up. No one cared to inquire why that person became a success; they assumed evil supernatural powers were the reason. -
