Voodoo is my favorite album. He displays a profound awareness and understanding of the history of Afrikan music on that one.

The fact that he named the album ‘Voodoo’ even though he likely got pushback from record execs for doing so makes him a revolutionary and in my eyes, an ancestor. Its a classic work indeed.
