Mekyea wo, my name is Jade and I will be 19 soon.
I was brought up in the catholic church, but as I got older, around 16, I began to see the discrepancies between the bible and the catholic church. So I decided that the religious church wasn’t the path for me and that instead I would be a ‘Christian’ in what I thought was the truest sense. I didn’t celebrate any religious celebrations, nor pray to saints and other figures only Yahweh etc.
When I was 17/18 I became very interested in Africa’s history and that of the diaspora to which I belong. I found that the bible had many roots that originated in Africa, especially Ethiopia, and so I began the journey into trying to piece together how Africans were God’s chosen people and how Yeshua (Jesus) would have been black.
But all the while there was always something inside me that couldn’t understand how the bible, the so-called holy book, played such a crucial role in destroying Africa and it’s people. I choose to believe that it was probably just the Europeans twisting the truth.
I never knew anything of Ancient Egypt, other than the white washed stories I have been told, but through my research I did find out about Kemet and the original black Kings and Queens. But I never thought that the deities were anything more than some kind of myth. Until I found Dr Kambon’s talks about the bible’s plagiarised stories from the Book of Coming Forth by Day and the other ancient artefacts of Kemet that have been physically documented and remain to this day, so that we don’t have to be led blindly by faith but can be certain of our history through knowledge.

Thank you I will look into that. Are there any books you would recommend? Muata Ashby has a book called: The Egyptian Book of the Dead: The Book of Coming Forth by Day. But I wasn’t sure if that was a good sign that he refers to it as ‘the book of the dead?’
