Amongst continental and Caribbeans Afrikans it is common to hear stories of people who built a retirement or vacation home in their native country then suddenly die when they settle in these homes. Most continental/Caribbean Afrikans attribute these deaths to negative spirits (aka what they call, Black Magic, Juju, Voodoo) caused by a relative who has an interest in the property.
When I’ve asked why these same spiritual forces couldn’t be used to stop European terrorism in Afrika, I’ve received the following answers:
1. “They (Europeans) know Jesus Christ”
2. “Our people are so greedy all they think about is their profit so the house is what they want.”
3. “You see my brother the Bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities”Can negative forces be conjured to cause harm or death to people?
Why do they seem to kill only Afrikans?
Is this hog wash?

I believe negative forces can be conjured up but I doubt its effectiveness. I believe people die soon after they go back “home” because 30 years of poor nutrition, demamding work, stress, inadequate climate will do anyone after the age of 65. I know in my hometown, folks go after retirement and drink heavily, womanize with US $$$ and since nothing is demanding them to work, they sit around, creating a worse situation. ✌🏾
