DEEPLY GRATEFUL: I’ve been in business 18 years doing business consulting helping the self-employed and folks doing side hustles transition to real entrepreneurship and get to the multimillion-dollar profitability level. I got my first Black client two months in August. I just spent the last two weeks with her in Nashville helping her build infrastructure and scale her company. I love my clients but unsurpassed this has been the best and most rewarding client experience I’ve ever had. We crossed a professional boundry and introduced our parents and over the phone and they hit it off like old friends. (both couples in love and happily married for over 40+ years). Everyone on my staff has loved working with her especially team member I brought in with me from Durham North Carolina. Spending time with her, her clients, her staff and meeting her children, and her parents reminded me of why I founded this company.
On top of all that I loved the city of Nashville so much (some of the best Black owned businesses, salsa/bachata dancing and vegan food ever).
I am genuinely sad leave but super grateful really rejuvenated.
