Peace Family! Abibifahodie!
It is awesome to see so many of us putting our health first. We must break the sedentary habits that have been forced upon us. I would like to help motivate and receive inspiration from all of you. With over 20 years of Martial Arts experience I hope to help change the perspective of what we are capable of. As Afrikan people Martial Arts is one of our original ways of cultivating mind/ body control, building strength, discipline and maintaining our vitality. Most importantly Martial Arts is how we have successfully fought off our oppressors time and time again. I believe that self defense is extremely important and I am very thankful to have Martial Arts as my foundation. I am a certified personal trainer and I have competed in Shotokan, Kuntaw, Tae Kwon do, American Kickboxing and I have some experience with Capoeira. The roots of Martial Arts is Capoeira. Capoeira is our Ancient practice. Through out history we have always practiced this self-defense dance art in some form. It should be our goal that every Afrikan knows our history of self defense techniques and learns how to defend themselves. This is important for our collective self-esteem and survival. I challenge everyone to focus at least 30 minutes a day on your physical fitness. Lets share our fitness progress and informative health findings. Most importantly lets make diseases like high blood pressure and heart disease a thing of the past.3 Comments76,258 Abibisika (Black Gold) Points
