Our ancestors comprehended the absolute importance of preserving culture. They built tombs, monuments, sculptures etc.. as well as engraved and encrypted text in part for the preservation of our culture. Without culture ( the intelligence and know how to build, protect, maintain, sustain, relate and govern) a people will become extinct. What could therefore be more important to creating a legacy, than passing on everything that makes you intrinsically you to your descendants?
Purposely we have been programmed and trained to be other than ourselves and as a result some of us (at the moment) have lost their culture, the knowledge of self (spirit, mind and body); therefore have become weak, easliy controlled and manipulated. This hatred of self was purposely the crux of what makes slavery work. By embracing another people’s culture empowers and ensures the continuation of that culture and the captivity of your own spiritual genius that is locked up in your genetic data bank.
Collectively in Afrikan history, we were not self absorbed people concerned only with individual success, we operated on the idea and philosophy of service, or Ma’at and the prosperity of the entire collective. Yes study Western history (exactly the way they have and continue to study you), not to mimic or embody their way, use the information gained not to perpetuate his foreign culture, but to empower your own.

Excellent and I love the “we were not self absorbed people concerned only with individual success” and look forward to the re-arising of black pride and our people returning to culture!
