For years we have looked to Europe for cues of style and beauty, envious of their image, we denounced our very own. Meanwhile Afrika and Africans for over 500 years til this very day kept strict allegiance to culture, traditions and the colours of life. Painting and adorning on themselves with nature appointed for itself, doing so for hundreds of years without a centrefold. Afrikans til this very day keep on showing primitive examples of elegance, defying beauty through the hues of nature. The next generation make it their mission to preserve their culture.
The face of Afrika is universal and that is our global truth to stamp on the world’s identity. Our journey is as long as the Earth is old. For Afrikan people from corner to corner and from ethnic group to ethnic group are a canvas of human creation……. we are art, what we create is life and what the world sees is beauty.
