Meaning that our current friends are a reflection of who we are and are 100% of our choice. A friend is someone whom we choose to spend our time and to associate with. The very people that we choose to be around do indeed shape our personality, the way we think, the way we speak and the way we perceive the world.

Whether we are aware of it or not, the people we choose to pay attention to and consider friends frame our reality, they are like a barometer of what is normal or what is possible. As the saying goes ” You’re only as good as the company you keep”. The truth is that our choice of friends will reflect the person that we are today and will in turn affect the person we will become tomorrow (pictured below are friends from Zambia).
