Ma’at Hotep, family! I recently had a conversation with a friend of mine who is very “religious”. I normally try to avoid any spiritual conversations with religious people whether they be Christian, Muslim, Hebrew, etc, but, I considered this person to be a friend and I respected his intellect and his right to his views. At a certain point in our conversation, I pointed out to my friend the similarities in the biblical scriptures and the ancient kemetic texts (The Husia, Book of Coming Forth By Day, The Memphite Theology which predate christianity by 10,000 years. I explained to the brother how all of the religious symbols, rituals and stories (the virgin birth, the trinity, the 10 commandments, baptism, the birth, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus,,the Madonna and child),….All of these pillars of the christian faith were “borrowed” from our ancient Egyptian ancestors. They were repackaged and fed back to Afrikans all over the world as catholicism, protestantism, Lutheranism, etc. I don’t know if our conversation had any impact on my friend…I offered him some suggestions for books to back up what I was saying. We’re still friends, but he doesn’t talk to me about religion any more. ”

You’re a friend to him, but it sounds like he’s not much of a friend to himself or to you.
