Ma’at Hotep, family, Like many of you, most of the books in my library are “non-fiction” in the areas of
history, economics, political science, psychology, spirituality, etc. mostly by black scholars (John H. Clarke, Marimba Ani, Chancellor Williams, Frances Cress-Welsing, Molefi Asante, etc.) and some white scholars. However, there is a book classified as fiction which has impacted me in all of these areas as much or more than the works of all of these scholars. The author is a Ghanaian writer named Ayi Kwei Armah and the title of the book is “Two Thousand Seasons”. Those of you that have read this book know the power that it has to transcend all areas of Afrikan life, history, culture and spirituality. I find that I have to periodically re-read this novel every five years or so to keep all of the other information on Afrika in perspective. I’ve found that Armah’s work is hard to find in most so-called “black book stores”, but you might want to try here: https://africaworldpressbooks.com/-
I can’t find this book anywhere…

Here’s the publisher’s website: https://stores.bbkwan.com/

Even though I already have the book, I reached out to the publishing house (Per Ankh in Senegal) by email to find out when they expect more copies. If this book club has 119 members and we could guarantee them about 20 purchases they would probably be able to find more copies (and give us a group discount). Whaddya’ think?

If be down to grab a copy if you could make a deal happen. ✌🏽
