Did anyone catch UFC 247 last night? Jones vs. Reyes was a good match. Folks had Reyes winning the fight, but I had Jones winning 3 of the 5 rounds (3, 4, and 5). Jon Jones has been so dominant his entire career that when someone puts up a good fight against him, we give the contender more credit.
Lastly, I can’t tell if Jones is slowing down due to the taxation of training and fighting over the past ten years, or if the competition in the UFC is getting better. He alluded to fighters these days have very little holes in their game. Nonetheless, it was a great fight, and he withstood a lot of punishment from Reyes.

I will have to watch it. I heard Jones Reyes took round 1 and 2.

Reyes definitely took Round 1, he came out extremely intense and wanted to set the tone with Jones. I’ll have to look at the fight again because my suspicion is that Reyes was hitting more air than Jones.
