Ma’at Hotep, family! I recently watched the Netflix documentary film series “Who Killed Malcolm X?” Having been a former member of the NOI Temple # 2 in 1974 I thought I knew a lot about the inner workings of the NOI, but later came to realize that I DIDN’T HAVE A CLUE. I joined the NOI a year after my discharge from the military in 1973 and a year after that Elijah Muhammad passed. At that time I had no idea of the extent to which FBI and Chicago PD had infiltrated ALL LEVELS of the NOI and I had never heard the term COINTELPRO. But, in light of the facts brought forth in this documentary, I now understand a lot of what was happening back then.
