It was mixed emotions, anger, hurt, hate, fear, betrayal, abandonment, pain, weakness, grief, disconnection, so many feelings all at once. I’m very emotional and not afraid to cry, like 2pac I shed so many tears, even replying to ur comment now there is tears. I did it bare feet as u can see from d pic, if I was allowed I would have gone naked. Doing the tour strengthened me & encouraged me. The energy was heavy and I could hear screams, shouts, weeping & wailing and because I saw the movie Sankofa it came alive for me. So many things words can’t explain, but I was humbled by my journey @goddessoracle

I just felt instantly from your noticeable absence on Abibitumi Ekow that you had landed back on home soil. Reconnecting with our roots overall will always bring round a happy but an intense, deep and unforgettable (healing) experience, hence why I asked you to elablorate more, as “mixed emotions” truly was the answer I knew you would say. Thank you for your honest perspective/feelings as well as sharing continuously your experience with us. In return are very insightful, rich in teaching as well as inspiring and for me what life experiences are truly about. Once we all continue to be in such positive energy that is working, flowing and moving, being in this kind of energy will beget many positive experiences for us all. So may we all reconnect, love one another and be a people of unity. But most importantly, deep appreciation must go to the Abibitumi (Obadele) family for providing such a powerful and supportive platform for us all to be able to offer our combined wisdom. In this way Ekow, we are empowered to live in alignment with our truth, which by it’s very nature is the embodiment of authenticity….there is nothing greater.
