This is a 1994 edition of the 1962 first edition. The author’s name is misspelled on the cover.
        E. Bolaji Idowu was born 1913 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. He was Yoruba. While he worked on a thesis at The University of London, he discovered much of the information put out about Yoruba spirituality was inaccurate. Thus, he wrote this.

In the preface, he refers to Olodumare as “Deity” and “Him.”

He does in detail in chapter 4, which is called “Olódùmarè-The Name.”

Dr. Idowu shows how the name “Olódùmarè” is composed of two words. I’m sure you would find this interesting.
