Thankhs. Yes, I believe we can heal in a sick society. It will of course be increasingly difficult because this society in Amerikkka is not productive for optimal healing but it can be done. The healing with take longer and a lot more effort must be put into the process and its maintenance. We can not always have the most optimal conditions for healing vut with consistent practices it can be done. A good start is a daily meditation, breathing exercise and healthy nutrition.
Healing is usually intergenerational. It generally didn’t start with just one person. Healing for moat starts with the one person and trickles through an entire family beacuse they are not usuallu the root of the problem. Many parents pass trauma onto their children and the cycle continues. Thats actually a topic for episode 2/3. I will discuss intergenerational PTSS/PTSD that runs through families. Fear, shame, prejudices, that are spread from generation to generation.
If you do not deal with the cause of the problem it will continue to grow. Part of healing is getting to the root issues. Just like if you have a weed in your garden or a cancerous tumor if you do not get all of the tumor/weed it can possibly continue to grow. The cause is just as important as the problem. Healing is a continuous journey especially with the trauma that Afrikans born in Amerikkka are going thru on a daily basis. It would be so much more healing and beneficial to be in an environment of optimal healing but until we get to that place we must start with what we have.
