I recently joined the marketing committee and therefore handle most of the media and communications for a Pan-African Organization in my city, Baltimore, called Pan-African Liberation Movement. A week or so ago, I coordinated this Black Power Group photoshoot to create strong images of Black power and unity, which amid this social climate of protest pleas, WE NEED! The photoshoot was a success, we took over that whole park area!! My dream/goal is to 1) be a successful author of rebellious, raw, and relatable Black creative writings and 2) to work in production at television networks or in films. Many people in my community noted how I seemed to be “in my element.” I was. I felt like it’s where I belong: production/creation. I enjoy it. Here’s a few photos from our group Photoshoot!
