I thank the Creator for giving my wife and I the opportunity to walk the grounds of Bagamoyo, Tanzania, the main port city for the trafficking of enslaved Afrikans in the Eastern region of the continent.

Also home to the two oldest Roman Catholic Churches in Afrika, Bagamoyo stands as an epicenter of the spiritual and physical assault Arab and European imperialists launched against Afrikan humanity, an assault that continues to this day.

We must make it our responsibility to avenge our ancestors by learning from and ACTING against the evils that they faced, evils which live on in the deeds of today’s rulers and their many collaborators.
