Barbados has what they call stick-licking. I think some folks have preserved it.
I did karate growing up, and stopped in my adult years. Only recently I’m seeing the Afrikan roots in it all.
Decided to pick back up karate during this shutdown, and this style incorporates eskrima. These origins are so fascinating.
