Good morning Afrikan family! This is my next read. A while back, i was looking at a documentary about the Democratic Republic of Congo. The narrator lightly brushed over the tyrant Leopold II of Belgium and what he did in the DRC barely 100 years ago. So, I watched a separate documentary about him and I was shook to my core. Funny how we are always taught about the Holocaust but never this case in which the casualties were the same number!! Now I’m going to read about this great man who wanted independence for his people but, that vision came at a price: his life. What do you know about Nana Lumumba?
