As a black woman, I know all too well how it feels to try fitting in. Even among my own community, pan Afrikan one not all too different. Youre expected to look a certain way and that includes the pressure of having long hair. Hair and black women’s love and issues with it is a longstanding topic with many of us. I have worn my hair in many lengths and styles including ‘bald.’😳Health issues and convenience being the reasons to big chop. Not because Im trying to be a ‘man’ (far from it)and that Im not feminine(very much a girly girl). I love being a black woman and I love black men and black love! Anyway, I look forward to delving into this book and sharing what its contents with those who are interested. I felt this may resonate with at least one sista today. Peace and Abibifahodie!
