I recently repatriated from ameriKKKa to an unnamed east Afrikan country. Until I arrived here, I had no idea how thoroughly “Christianized” and “Muslimized” the population was here. And it’s not that I’m anti Christianity or anti Islam, but for someone like myself, who doesn’t adhere to either of these belief systems life can be somewhat challenging. How do you explain “Kemetic Science” or “Ma’at” to someone whose only spiritual frame of reference is the Bible or the Quran without creating an air of suspicion or negativity about yourself. And yes, I do understand that all of the world’s major religions were plagiarized from the Kemetic spiritual system. However, that doesn’t seem to matter when you are trying to adapt and fit in to a culture and society which is different from the one you were born into. The population here is generally very tolerant and is known for it’s lack of religious or tribal conflict, but as a “Mzungu” I’m trying to make as smooth a transition into Afrikan society as I can. For the meantime, I have chosen to keep my spiritual beliefs to myself at least until I have mastered the local language and established some meaningful relationships in the community. My best friend in the community is a Muslim brother who is married to a Christian, so he has an open mind. Any other diasporan “re-pats” experienced anything similar?

There is a set of courses in the shop called Foundations of Kmtyw Thought where I introduce these concepts to university students whose frames of reference are christ-insanity and islum. You may be interested in checking these out. Also, I tried to reach out to you about a past Kiswahili course. Please reach out on private message so that I can find out exactly what happened.
