Abibifahodie family! I am looking to have my own website for my baking business, Trini Gyul Sweets, and finally delete the Instagram I have set up for it. This site will be treated as more of a blog to showcase my work. I don’t intend to ever open a physical business here in the snakkkes due to the wicked tax system here amongst other reasons. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Funny you ask this question now I was speaking with @obadelekambon & @kevlew about doing the black e-commerce. Maybe if there’s more interest we can start a digital blackanomics/coders group or do a weekend get together to discuss this most vital topic.
Being sucessful on ecommerce is more complicatd than it may appear, from experince I can say a few things. Avoid WIx, WordPress, Google (besides ads and analytics that’s vital) and Amazon based API’s like the plague. If in budget try to find black web developers to code your site w/o using wordpress or wix (Amazon subsidiaries ) Have many different ecommerce carts as possible.
Tl;Dr Don’t put all your eggs into one white basket ( e commerce shopping cart) and pay to have site developed independently from Wix or WordPress.
