Abibisika (Black Gold) Points Today, a cavebeast went off on me because he took offense to a comment that I made. Every single day, he gets his coffee a particular way, but after making it, he would hand me back the cup and ask me to put ice in it. My job gets very busy so I can’t remember every single person’s “go to drink”. So today, we had the same usual transaction, and I asked if this is how it was going to be.. he took offense to that and said “I’ll ask for ice if i want it”.
I was confused and tried to explain to him that I was asking if he always prefers ice in his drink.. this krakka went OFF.. talking about how he was waiting before while i was “chatting it up” with a brother who was in the store before him and some situation last week in which I indirectly let him know that I wasn’t taking his crap.
I wanted to snap back at him, but by the look in his eyes and when he said “i’m angry right now” and “I might not come back here if i see you” made me diffuse the situation for my own safety. In all, i offered a fake apology and told him next time the drink would be free, and he said okay.
I am officially expediting my repatriation journey. I have had enough.

Abibisika (Black Gold) Points Asante for understanding dadangu. He definitely will pay. I’m not going down without a fight. With that being said, I can say that situation was the straw that broke the camels back. I have truly had enough. I felt like I was brought down to servitude status and I had to “appease to massa”. I’m waiting on the Trinidadian consulate to begin resuming passport applications (they stopped because of rising cases back home). Once I get it, I’m out. Even my mother agrees that it’s a good idea.

I think it is part of our healing process to ‘get out’ as quickly as
possible. I stand by your decision and encourage you to proceed forth. As
for feeling like ‘servitude status’ towards ‘massa,’ I think if there had
been a strong ‘Alpha male’ brotha presence there keeping watch that
neanderthal creature may not have had the caucasity to do what he did. The
coons so busy chasing ‘snow bunnies’ as Dr. U.J. calls them, they cant be
fully around and available to protect and defend the sistas as they
should. Shameful. Im out even if I gotta work four jobs, selling items
and other side hustles I’ll do it. So tired of this place. Im fed up
completely. May our relocation goals happen haraka haraka.
