I’m not up on my ant biology, but one question that I’ve always wondered about was whether ants use any forms of vibratory or sound communication.
1. Excellent example of understanding the enemies weaknessness (jaws, joints, wing muscles, etc)
2. Good demonstration of organized swarming. Only a few break off to deal with the mantis. It would be useful to watch how ants determine the number of members needed to attack and subdue and external issue.
