      Greetings sistas!
What are some things that you do for self-care?
For myself, I have been taking more naps, lighting incense and trying to form a communication with my ancestors.

yes!! learn to face your emotions and let them pass through!! This is an underestimated one and I believe that’s why so many people tend to smoke and/or drink..It numbs you. And nature is so healing, you have greater access to it being in the south (miss me with those stink bugs tho). And the sun is our vitamin!! I feel bad for those who need sunscreen (NOT). Great tips sis

I journal, read, listen to music, try to be in nature, and I no longer force myself into areas in which I dont or am made to feel that I dont belong.

Poa!! Its important to listen to your intuition when it comes to how the energy feels in a certain place or even around certain people *cough* krakkas *cough*. Forcing yourself to be in those spaces depletes your energy, and we ain’t got time for that. Living in this wicked and evil kkkountry is already depleting so conserving energy is a must.

These tips are so dope!!! Imma steal one or two or five from you lol.. communicating with plants is not one that I ever considered but im willing to try it. I noticed that one place that we as Black women bond (although things can get messy) is the hair salon. We chat and have a good time and on several occasions, we have had life-changing discussions. The gossip and drama needs to go though.
