Within these past two years, I have noticed a rise in Black women going back to the “creamy crack”, wearing weaves (costly ones at that!) and obsessing over “laying edges”.
I wonder to myself: are so many of these women doing this for the aesthetic as they say? Or is there a much deeper problem? What is the issue?
I’m not trying to bash anyone; I’m coming from a place of love but this is an important topic to discuss for future generations.

The vectors of compromise are many. This is the ingrained-self-hatred vector of compromise.
