Has anyone read “The Book of Khallid” by Nana Malik Zulu Shabazz? I started the book several months ago and finally completed it last night. Nana Garvey once said, “A strong man is strong everywhere.” And Khallid was just that, strong everywhere, Nana Baako Pɛ.
Has anyone on here attended Nana Khallid’s lectures, met or spent time with him? What were your impressions?

I haven’t read it, now added it to my list. What stood out to you in the book?

@makiyasmack, I didn’t know much about Nana Khallid’s upbringing prior to reading this book. Things I learned:
– At an early age, he was selected into the academically gifted program.
– In high school he was the captain of the debate team.
– In high school he was also the QB of his football team. And if you know anything about football, usually the QB is the Leader.
– In college he joined Omega Psi Phi.He had all of the right stuff to excel in leadership prior to joining the nation. Farrakhan caught him at the crossroads.

He stayed at our house about three or four times when he spoke at the Bennu Cultural Center. I was there when he spoke.-
What were your impressions of Nana Khallid?
