He who has circumcised me once does not return to do it again //
He who stumbles twice over one stone deserves to break his shins.
The message in this proverb is when someone is cheated one time, they learn from that experience and becomes wiser so they can avoid being cheated again. But, if they are cheated again, that’s their fault for not learning from the first time.
