I was watching a video by a Kikuyu brorher, and he was explaining the true role of christianity. He also provided these verses from the “bible” to prove his point:

“Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn a man against his father,
      a daughter against her mother,
      a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
36 a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.” Matthew 10:34-36

      Thoughts?

Akwaba Makiya; You may agree that the most difficult thing to do today is to wake up those who ‘are asleep’ …such was the task  of Yashua, the black revolutionary of his day(according to the story)!🙂 He was bucking against a system and way of life that had become popular and attractive to his people; although they were being exploited. Their land was occupied, and ruled by strangers,(mzungus) and the very essence of their being(their worship…their spiritual allegiance) was being co-opted by Rome! So the Christ was saying He came to ‘stir the pot’ …shake things up a bit… set a man( the awaken) at variance against those of his household( those asleep).🙂

who is yashua? Also, the message that the brother was conveying is that the wazungus brought christianity so they can divide and conquer..so many Black families throughout the diaspora and on the continent are divided because of this religion

Its a long story.🙂 Yashua is the supposed ‘Jesus’…(again, according to the story) I agree; that the story was manipulated to divide; but Yashua , being a Temple initiate  in Egypt, would never have had such an intent. Divide and conquer is a strategy of a corrupt religion. Its intent was to deceive, and  not  to liberate! According to the story; the first ‘Church’ had all things in common. That to  me, sounds like ‘Ubuntu’…the Afrikan way! Sadly;  today it seems; even we Africans, have lost our way. The Wazungus who claimed they were missionaries were deceivers, and theives! The proof is there in Africa. The African Churches are poor; while their so called ‘Head-quarters’ are all rich and located overseas. So I would agree with the brotha’s  perpective. In the end; we Africans were duped for accepting an ‘altered version’ of our own story. For a lack of Knowledge the people perished…( This too is an African proverb)!🙂

he may explain that to his christianised brethren but their reversed minds can’t grasp it because of the way the god vs. devil code is deployed where the evil god is “good” and the innocent devil is “bad”

he was using it as a reference to show that christianity divides us..but he says that he abandoned christianity

Kool. I will look into it. My view however is that the europeans (eurasians) adopted this paradigm with a view to deceive. It was a way to portray themselves as being benevolent. Thus taking a less hostile approach to what would amount to an outright invasion.
…The ‘good vs evil’ as an identifiable universal paradigm, which could be easily portrayed, goes way back though. In fact, I would say, to the extent that it is not present in ‘Kmtyw reality’, would  be to the extent with which we have departed from the principles of  Ma’at. The very basis of Ma’at is to weigh the effect of ‘evil’ (or lack  there of) on the heart. Thus the negative confessions,  wouldn’t you say?

EMERALD TABLET 06. The Key of Magik  … ‘Even as exist among men the dark brothers, so there exists the brothers of light. Antagonists they of the brothers of darkness, seeking to free men from the night.’ This translation leads me to think  the paradigm of  ‘good vs evil’ was  definitely a ‘conscious’ part of their reality …as a clearly expressed dogma. And yes; I am interested in the primary texts. Please provide a pdf link  if possible.
