“One is never used to the heat of the sun.”
-Ewe proverb
“Moral Teaching: This proverb originates from farming experience. Farmers have to work in the hot scorching sun all day and never get used to the heat of the sun but they have to learn to endure it. The proverb is therefore another way of saying we never really enjoy difficult tasks but we learn to do them because they have to be done.”
