Had a chance to visit the munro wind farm in the mountains of Malvern, St Elizabeth. Jamaica plans to lessen electricity prices (majority based today on imported fossil fuels) through hydro, wind and solar projects. This is much needed as Jamaica is currently the #5 country in the world with the most expensive electricity. We witnessed this recently with an electricity bill we got for using AC at night while there! LOL!
