I went to see the Thaddeus Tukes Quartet tonight. It was a good performance. I heard some of my favorite jazz songs sans saxophone, but with the vibraphone instead. It was very interesting.
I learned two things tonight. 1) Lionel Hampton grew up in Chicago. 2) Jazz and Capoeira share many of the same principles.
