Afrikana Woman Vol. 2: ‘The Womb as the Revolutionary Cipher’, is another ensemble of voices emitting the sacred Afrikan feminine energy revolutionarily expended in coveying the epistemology of Afrikan liberation from what I call “wombsdom” of our Ancients or the light from the dome of the womb (awareness or conceptional field) of the water (primal life force) bearing Afrikana Woman, not as myopically female-centred but family/community/nation/race-centred.
Through Cool Affair’s musical ingredients in transcendence to time constructs and constraints of anti-Blackness, the broken beat musical artcraft he invokes, which incessantly never betrays nor demeans the true essence of the Black Soul, in resistance and rebellion on a restorative revolutionary posture as expressed musically. The line-up of the selected Black Warrior Maternal voices is so in sync with the music made to them in this EP to fortify the Afrikan Sovereignist Black Power textural blend for the preservation of the messages’ uncompromising and unflinching standing against what Baba Kamau Kambon calls White Terror Domination & Deceit lifting the veil for us on the “white supremacy” misnomer and the psychological output it serves.
