If something can be altered to be bigger, it can be altered to be smaller, if it can be altered to produce more, it can be altered to produce nothing, if a perennial crop can be altered to have more harvest cycles, it can be altered to have just one or none. Pure control. And whoever has an upper-hand in the technology would have others at their mercy
