THERE IS NO “GOD” IN OUR AFRIKAN SPIRITUAL COSMOLOGIES

“The totality of existence perceived with a sense of purpose makes living life as nothing else but itself, in accord with laws written and/or precoded in all life forms, the “divine” presence itself. The Greater Source can only be All there is, which all the living cannot be seperated from. Making essence and existence mutually exclusive created the imagination of the existence of an entity/being that is independent of life forms and their living experiences. This entity/being and its purported independence from all else places any honest thinker in a strained relationship with sense and reason. Escapism of belief is the elusive rupture that seeks to legitimize sheer denial to not knowing. You believe! And that’s it. We can no longer defer a need for knowledge of Self to leaps of belief in the elusive. In Afrika, we have ‘Dimo’, which is an imponderable life force/power both permeating and emanating from all life forms. ‘Badimo’, a Sesotho word for which the word ‘ancestors’ is grossly inadequate for equivalence, means ‘ spirits of the transitioned with the eternal mark or imprint of that life power/force that is All in All/Everything there is. We must understand paradigms of concepts behind words”.
