Asante sana for this group! Kikongo is a language I’ve always thought about it as it’s a deep connection of Kongo heritage in my ancestry and diaspora ancestral location in “colombia”. Palenquero, which is often called the only Afrikan diasporic “creole” language with a Spanish lexicon, has Kikongo as its Aftikan base. I have recommended to the brothers and sisters down there to learn Palenquero as a bridge back to Kikongo.
