Pfizer’s History Of Criminal Actions Of Harming People and Use of False Claims Is Vast But Often Swept Under The Rug
In 1996, Pfizer flew a new wonder drug out to Nigeria where there was an outbreak of meningitis so they could use the children their as Guinea pigs to experiment on. Without obtaining parents permission, they gave the drug to 200 children. 11 children died and many were severely injured.
In 2001, 30 Nigerian families sued Nigeria but the case was dismissed. In 2007, the government of Nigeria sued Pfizer for 7 billion dollars. Pfizer dug up dirt on the Attorney General promising more would come up if he didn’t drop the case. The attorney general dropped the case. In 2009, Pfizer agreed to pay 75 million but some families were unable to navigate the process to get the money. In 2010, Nigeria uncovered that Pfizer had blackmailed their AG. This is only one example from Pfizer.
