I once heard that when Christianity first came to Ethiopia, the women burned down all the churches that was built because they said the religion was foreign to them.
Has anyone heard that story or history before?-

I think if we have a narrow definition of colonization or if we don’t realize they never needed to be colonized they were already mentally subjugated. The original Kingdom Europeans call Ethiopia was conquered by a neighboring group of people which I believe was mixed with African and Asiatics called Arabs, whites, or whatever. Then this Kingdom annexed the name Ethiopia. When you study the history of this certain individuals came and introduced Christianity to these people. Anyway, these people were willing to buy into the concept of an African woman sleeping with a white man and producing a whole nation of light skin people. Why would you need to colonize with a mentality like that.

The Aksumite religion was actually derived from the Arabic religion and called their god Mahrem, so they did not need to be colonized because they have always been Arab. In the fourth century, Ezana the king, who was a folllower of the Axumite religion, converted to Christianity. A Syrian bishop named Frumentius who had been captured and taken into the court educated him. Ezana declared Axum to be a Christian. Agian he and his people were and are not Ethiopia, or Kushitic. Ok, perhaps that’s my view, you could say they are mixed. Aksum under Ezana reached its height between A.D. 325 and 360 the whites say. Ezana first conquered part of the Arabian peninsula which is now Yemen. Then In 330, Ezana turned to Kush, In 350 he conquered the Kushites and burned Meroë to the ground. This is a FACT. Look up the Pillars of Aksum, it was built to celebrate Aksum’s achievements, It Still standing today.
“I carried war against [them] when they had rebelled. . . . I burnt their towns of stone and their towns of straw. At the same time, my men plundered [stole] their grain, their bronze, their iron and their copper, destroyed the idols in their homes, their stocks of corn and of cotton; and they threw themselves into the river.

Those people in “Ethiopia”, which is really Abyssinia , also referred to as “negroids”, are the same as their cousins in Somalia. I’ve been having a hard time convincing folk that they are not the same as us. I’ve seen with my own eyes how they treat Black people in Kenya on multiple occasions; like servants. That name is derived from what used to be called Black Africa by the Greek, the name “Aethiopia” .
