Good Evening, Brothers and SistersAs you all know, my time is limited for I’m in school in a History degree program, but, I’m still collecting Bamileke Medumba data from various sources including the people themselves, I’m preparing a large-scale data collection and Medumba dictionary project in which I have been working on for three years now by myself. I have collected at least 2000 words. I have ordered this book, and it gives good basic conversational skills in Bamileke Medumba. After my degree program, I will be engaging in a comparative linguistic project comparing Bamileke Medumba with the rest of the languages I already compared, which is Dogon Tommo So, Nubian Dongolawi, SW Dinka, and Coptic as well as classical Medew Neter. For members, if you can invite speakers of Bamileke Medumba to the group that would assist me as well, as we can connect on this Abbitumi site, so I can hear actual pronunciation to assist me with IPA notation of some words. The words in angled brackets are Bamileke Medumba but do not reflect the actual pronunciation, it’s only orthographic.
