Crypto payment platform Alphapo has been hit by a hacking attack that has resulted in $23 million in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron drained from its hot wallets.
Alphapo processes payments for gambling services, some of which were forced to disable withdrawals due to the attack.”
Alphapo has already assured its customers that if their payments had been affected, their funds are secure – whatever that means.
According to a recent report, losses from DeFi attacks and fraud totaled more than $204 million in 2Q2023 alone, slightly less than the previous quarter, when losses topped $320 million.
