📣 Agoo. Mepa wo kyɛw, calling on our Mighty Farmers/Gardeners here in Ghana- please make yourself known by responding back. Let’s earnestly connect and strengthen our Food Sustainability efforts. Over the past 10 weeks, I have been familiarizing myself, firsthand, with many aspects growing here in Ghana. I am seeing what’s working and what’s not working. We had that longgggg rainy season, but now, clearly, we’ve moved into the Dry Season with Harmattan coming soon. More factors to consider. I’m all about home-grown/natural innovations for success. AYEKOO!

We’re watering several times per week operating on the solar borehole. I’m wondering how long groundwater supply will hold up. It should be a while with the neverending rainy season, but we’ll see.

Aane- the water supply/watering system is another factor. At this stage of the growing cycle, we’re watering daily. I need to find a good (non-seeding) mulching material to prevent quicker drying out.
