It is a strategic plan.
Burkina Faso needs weapons and they need them today.
They must secure internal and external along with insuring their own army has the tools needed to keep down and or get rid of any counters that will come about.
There are outside forces that do not want to see Burkina succeed and they are willing to finance any all enemy groups to ensure that comes about.
Burkina has tried to tool up with companies from the states and europe and to no avail, they are either give them left overs or block deals completely so that tools do not arrive.
Russia is willing to tool up Burkina so that they maintain stability within the boarders so that building process begins.
Gold mines are no longer shipping out, so they are building their a process plant to process gold from start to finish. Once that is complete, they will use that to trade for the materials needed to build weapons and defense infrastructures. However, they need weapons today, not tomorrow, not in 6 months when they finish a weapons depot, today.

Only time will tell. Is he a Dessaline or a Louverture?
Dessaline fought for Black Liberation.
Louverture fought for “equal treatment” under the rule of our enemies.
I don’t know about his intentions but I definitely disagree with his strategy. While I can see how that situation can be managed, not only is it unnecessary but just straight weak.

The Dessaline side and the Louverture side aren’t the only categories of course but when a serious battle is taking place, those two types of perspectives are often always at play. You can find at least a bit of one in the other, as well.
