In the north they eat it raw. In the south, they don’t even know it’s food anymore. Times have changed over the last few hundred years or so.

Nice! Hopefully the South can learn from the North. I also ate it raw at the Blacktastic Raw Vegan restaurant called Me Hungry in Mandeville, Jamaica

Yes, we eat this back home in Jamaica. Ackee and saltfish is our national dish.
