For instance take this quote from the article:

“And those of us who are white can only imagine what it’s like to be the African-American student who has to walk through the doors of the Wilson school every day, or eat dinner beneath his mural every night and stare into the exalted image of a man who didn’t believe you should be treated as an American, or even as a person.
But there’s a bigger picture here…..”

Essentially, what you’re reading in this article is how terms such as ‘race relations’ came into existence. The concept of “race relations” begins right at the “BUT” followed by the “bigger picture” reference. RIGHT THERE!!! That’s the opening!

Previous thoughts I’ve had on “race relations” are as follows:

“The term “race relations” would be irrelevant and nonexistent if nobody was racist. There shouldn’t be a need to be concerned about “race relations” unless somebody is racist. So obviously, “race relations” isn’t merely a reference to the relationship between the races, but rather a reference to the relationship between the white supremacists and the victims thereof.
In other words, the conversations on the state of “race relations” amount to a safe negro check.
Now, tell me…..
When was the last time you saw a conversation centered around running a check on the state of the relationship between jews and nazis? “How’s that relationship? Is it getting better?” Where’s the movement to better the relationship between jews and nazis? When was the last time you were privy to a conversation centered around running a check on the state of the relationship between child molesters and children? “Is the relationship better today than it was 40 years ago?” Where’s that movement at too?
That’s how ridiculous the idea of “race relations” is, but that’s what happens when an oppressive system goes on for so long, is so deeply ingrained that it becomes culture, when the oppressors are victorious over the oppressed and when the oppressed accept their defeat as a permanent, irreversible condition.
Once that happens, concepts such as “race relations” begin to seem normal to people.”

^^^Keep that in mind as you read this article. When he speaks of woodrow wilson’s despicable character, he uses words such as “seems” and “apparently” in an effort to downplay the fact that he’s a psychopathic, racist, terrorist of the worst kind. He speaks of some sort of fallacy as it regards judging historical figures by modern standards i.e. that what all this man did was acceptable in the time in which he lived. Talks about how the civil rights movement was way way waaaay in the future while ignoring that there was a movement larger than the civil rights movement going on right there in wilson’s time i.e. the UNIA. Not to mention that there is no time at all in history where Black People were all just ok and accepting of racism.

There has always been movements against racism. Everywhere and in every time. Like when he sent the grandsons of confederates to Haiti in 1915 in a military invasion of that country. The Black People in Haiti too showed that they were not ok nor accepting of this act of war. The troops that woodrow sent massacred about 19,000 Black People there. You can’t use the excuse that people all thought that was acceptable, but this is how hard he attempts, again, to absolve wilson of responsibility for who he actually was.

Side note: This is why I say all the time that Black folks can forget about the idea of reparations. Whites don’t even want to hold, in mere words, the actual people responsible for slavery and jim crow accountable for their action. They find all sorts of excuses to get’em off the hook.

One of the worst parts in this article is when he gets around to how he defines intelligence i.e. “the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function”. This is where the real insidiousness lies because it’s not just a matter of him attempting to class the Black students(who are protesting wilson) as being mentally inferior and cowardly(by his reference thereafter to teachers cowering to the students’ protest) if they can’t appreciate white racist, terrorists/ genocidaires, but it’s also, again, the TROLLING and the jedi mind trickery.

One of the people who communicated with woodrow wilson about the injustices he was committing against Black People at that time(specifically about how wilson held some Black People in cages wherever they couldn’t be segregated due to being used as servants) was w.e.b. dubois. That’s the man who coined the term “double-consciousness” as it relates to Black People under the terrorist system of white racism and it addresses not merely the idea of having to hold two opposing ideas in one’s head while still functioning as an academic exercise of intelligence, but in fact to LIVE YOUR WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE with opposing MINDSETS(not merely 2 ideas, but bodies/ litanies of opposing ideas) while still being able to function for sake of your very survival!

This is what Black People in general have had to do for the entirety of their time in america under the terrorist, system of white racism to varying degrees considering the setting. Imagine what it had to have been like to be Black in the military back in the day when they had segregated units. You had Black troops who witnessed their own side giving better treatment to captured nazi prisoners than they themselves received from “their own side” and yet they still had to continue fighting for those men and the country as a whole that oppressed them back “home”.

Black women were raped on a daily basis for CENTURIES during slavery and had to try to lovingly raise the products of many of those rapes. Are you kidding me??? This is why it’s trolling because whites know we have to do this everyday and have had to do it for centuries here. And the fact that it’s not sincere is where the jedi mind trick comes in.

Does he prescribe this same model/ criteria of intelligence to jews in relation to hitler and the nazis? Does he think that there should be shools that honor hitler and the nazis and that jews should go to these schools and learn to appreciate other aspects of hitler and the nazis because doing so will make them intelligent?

Of course he doesn’t. Because he knows better. He doesn’t need to be Black, despite him saying that he can’t imagine what it must be like to be Black and have to deal with this issue. All that he needs to be is human and honest. But he can’t be human and honest because he’s too busy being a psychopathic, white racist. Now, what does it say about his intelligence that he can’t hold 2 ideas that are not even necessarily at odds with each other (being human and honest) in his head at the same time and function?

Let’s be clear about something here. There are plenty of people who hold opposing ideas in their head and still function. Hypocrites, for example, do this all the time. In fact, since I already have a definition of intelligence that I prefer, namely the one given to us by Nana Amos Wilson, the first thing I thought when I saw his definition of intelligence was that it was pathological in nature. He’s trying to make it sound as though it would be to Black People’s benefit to admire white racists in the way in which he prescribes for us when really it’s to the benefit of white racists for Black People to admire white racists in said way.

This brings to mind statements I made previously on the issue of “drapetomania” where I said:

What they essentially/ effectively did with the creation of this term/ false diagnosis is pathologize normal, healthy, human behavior…. The accomplishment for them would be that we forego our good sense and instead remain in the relationship with them….. What do they get from us remaining in the relationship with them? They get the benefits of continued exploitation, of course. They cannot practice racism unless they have someone upon whom to practice it. The key is to get that someone to learn to abandon his/ her own mental and emotional health maintenance mechanisms.
Mental and emotional health maintenance mechanisms, by nature, require a sound practice of discernment as it regards what we accept and what we reject in life. The task of white racists, conversely, is to convince us to be open to ANYTHING because that is exactly what they and their culture of racism require of us.
When looking at history since the era of the creation of the false diagnosis of drapetomania till now, there is no point in time where the white racists(those responsible for the terrorist system of racism ), were ever removed from the society. In turn, there is also no point in time where their victims, Black People, ever achieved the creation of a state completely independent of white racists. There’s a long history of us trying, but also a long history of whites mischaracterizing and demonizing independence efforts as “Black separatism”, “segregation”, “reverse racism” etc., so as to get us to abandon said efforts.
What does this mean?
It means something I’ve been saying for years; Whereas the jews were dragged into their holocaust kicking and screaming for a few years and then made it out, Black People, on the other hand, were dragged kicking and screaming into our hellofacost and we never made it out.
Instead, we’ve remained in the abusive relationship and consequently in our deteriorating state, we’re suffering from a multitude of mental and emotional maladies to which we’ve maladapted and now aid white racists in encouraging as normal.”

And those of us who ever express any significant degree of a healthy mind are constantly opposed and encouraged right on back into that sick state in which they need us to be.

He’s not talking about the ability of Black People to hold 2 opposing ideas in our minds and still function. He’s talking about FRACTURING the minds of Black People so as to limit our functionality/ malfunction to that which suits the white racists. This is why any admiration we ever develop of any white racists has to be specifically according to what they prescribe. Because if we learn to appreciate white racists in a way that is not prescribed by white racists, they’ll have a problem with that too, as we witnessed with former Wits University SRC president Mcebo Dlamini a few months back when he stated that he admired hitler for his organizational skills, his ability to successfully convince others of his ideas etc,.

As I said earlier, this is what happens when the oppressors are victorious over the oppressed. Whites can’t even deal with naming streets or building statues in honor of Black People who opposed white racists violently much less holding up and admiring anyone who committed terrorist acts or even outright genocides against them. We don’t see that ANYWHERE in this land. All of the genocidaires that are held up and admired are white racists i.e. those who committed geonocides against NON-WHITE people.
