I have witnessed many Afrikans, both my peers and those older than me, fall into the trap of trying to learn from corporate America with the intention of serving our people in the future. However, once they enter that corrupted world, they often struggle to find their way out. Even when they do, they become so alienated from the core principles and values of what is truly Afrikan that they inadvertently become agents of colonization.

I am deeply grateful to my ancestors for giving me the courage to pursue my own path home. While it is undoubtedly harder to fight than to assimilate, I find that I am growing in internal peace as I confront the challenges around me.

I am thankful for my growth in discernment and for the teachers and mentors who have provided me with the knowledge to overcome the adversities and avoid the traps that I have encountered. Their guidance has been invaluable in helping me stay true to my purpose and my people.
