What is ethnicity? What defines an ethnic group. Is it dialect? If so, is “Tsotsi taal”, as we call it in Mzansi, an ethnic group?

To me ethnicity is a group of people sharing a common identity and culture.

I prefer to use “cultural-linguistic group” over ethnic group in our context as Abibifo.
