cameras don’t lie…KEEP DEM HANDS UP! rounds 9,10/10 post work out
Any critiques or advice on simulations with the heavy bag and in general would be much appreciated+kicking technique. For now that’s all I have to work with, until finding a sparing partner and/or the weather gets warmer. More importantly I got two little brothers I adopted (cameraman and lil guy running around),14 and 15. Those “conscious shaping tokens” have done a number on em, they rather play with balls all day then learn how to kaas dërwaaam (fight for ones rights). I’m trying to instill in them some Afrakan warrior hood and awareness that we (black=Afrakan) are one people. Any advice on helping the youth in combat, identity, and beyond would be very appreciated as well.

I like your lateral movement, activity and technique in general. What I’m not a big fan of is your spins. They seem unmotivated (i.e., spinning for spinning’s sake), unprotected (i.e., starting/finishing with a backfist, kick, kwk.) and in general what would get you slammed if you’re going against anyone who observes you for a minute. I couldn’t see you getting more than one of those in. Simplest thing is to praise them when they do well. Some will just keep it up just because they are praised for doing something right.

Appreciate the feedback Dr. Kambon very helpful. Gonna focus on kicks and uping the focus/intensity. Far as the boys good advice, positive feedback is so simple yet overlooked.
I’ll have to fly out to Ghana and get your lessons first hand in Capoeira/ asaw ko.

You’re welcome. True indeed. I look forward to seeing you on the correct side of the ocean for training in Asako/Ɔkosa!
